Tristan Driessens and Robbe Kieckens dive into classical Ottoman music and other Eastern music styles. They stood side by side in the Lamekan Ensemble, Soolmaan Quartet, La Compagnie d'Elias and more recently Refugees for Refugees. In January they released their debut album, Blue Silence - Dancing Tales Vol. I, which received a lot of praise both at home and abroad. In this album they offer a unique representation of the different paths the duo have traveled, from Turkish-Persian music to European folk and modal jazz.
